Though no one knows for sure when Strip Poker actually made its debut, it is safely speculated that it came shortly after the orignal poker game, in New Orleans around 1830.  You can bet that people used this as quite the form of entertainment.  Think about how many other “strip” variotions of games come out shortly after the original hits the market.

The rules are pretty simple.  You play the game, and the losing hand removes an article of clothing, with the aim of the game being the one not to end up completely nude at the end of the game.  There are a few different methods to the game if you consider your time constraints. 

Fast Strip Poker involves that everyone but the winner remove an article of clothing, and the first naked one is declared the loser.  This is the way that many people play the game when they are at risk for getting caught and/or getting into trouble for playing the game. 

Medium Strip Poker involves only the person with the worst hand at the end of the round removing a piece of clothing, and the first naked one is declared the loser.

Slow Strip Poker can definitely take awhile, so you should only play this one if you have a lot of time on your hands, are really bored, or enjoy the use of your imagination as you undress all your competitors with your eyes during play.  This game starts with chips as a regular poker game would.  Then, after you run out of chips, you offer up clothing as your bet.

The important thing to remember is that you should have fun, and all players should consent.  If you are legal, throw some alcoholic beverages into the mix for a bit more fun.  If you are under 18, hold off on this game for a few more years, okay?
