Different rules will come into play depending on the game you are participating in, but as a general rule you should always remember the following:

Never criticize a fellow player.  He or she knows what they are doing.  If not, oh well.  You cannot judge.  Their bets are their bets, and their strategies are their strategies.  If you were so perfect, you would be winning all the time, and the casino owner would either comp you until the end of time, or ban you.

Tip the dealer when you are doing well.  Yes, it is nice.  No, they do not expect it when you are losing your behind off.  Place your tip bets outside of the betting circle.

Always be clear when communicating anything with the dealer.  Do not allow for ambiguity.  Say what you mean, mean what you say.  Be careful with hand gestures or any sort of body language.  Make sure the dealer knows what’s going on without having to stop and ask for clarification.  If the dealer does not stop and ask for clarification and does something you do not like, you only have yourself to blame.

Do not interrupt a game to push in your chips and leave the table.  It is very rude.  Wait until the appropriate break in the game to call it quits.

Do not hog the table by using empty spots as your foot or arm rests.  Make sure that everyone who wants to play, can do so.  Taking up more room than you need is not nice.

Do not gather winning chips until called for.  Wait until the dealer has finished before you reach in and grab your chips.  It will get confusing and make other players mad if anything you touch is not justly yours.

Show courtesy to fellow players when placing bets.  It can get confusing from time to time depending on the game, and the number of players.  Take it easy, go your turn, and keep up with the game!

Many of the people who frequent the casinos and table games often neglect many of these things.  Sometimes, it is overlooked, and sometimes, serious offense is taken by it.  Knowing this, you should be just fine in any casino table game atmosphere.  Good Luck!
